Patient safety is priority
At Chiro Motion, we have taken a number steps mitigate the impact of COVID-19 to ensure patient safety and wellbeing.
Sanitisation after each appointment
We have made appointments a bit longer (20 minutes) this is to allow enough the chiropractor a little extra time to clean and sanitize surfaces before the next client.
Staggered appointments to avoid contact with other patients
We have also slightly changed the way book appointments, you’ll notice we will stagger appointments; this is to ensure we minimize the amount of contact with other individuals.
Wearing PPE gear
We have been advised by the Ministry of health to wear PPE gear with clients who are vulnerable or symptomatic. (These clients will be screened via a video appointment before entering the practice). But we understand if you feel safer with your chiropractor wearing a mask. Just ask your chiropractor.
Reorganisation of our waiting area
We ask clients to please wait in their vehicles until there appointment time or please keep a 1 metre distance while sitting in the reception. (Chairs have been place 1-1.5 metres apart)
New payment options
We’ve added options to payments types, if you wish to minimize contact with the eftpos machine. Payment options include Eftpos, Bulk payments ( you can pay for a number of appointments in on transaction) or bank transfer
Online Screening
We have on offer Telehealth appointment which is done through a video link, this allows the chiropractors to assess symptoms and give you some advice, and possible face to face appointment, this is determined by the chiropractor.
Client Advice
We have advised our clients if they have had any signs of illness, particularly a cough, runny nose and/or fever, OR have been in contact with a confirmed case of covid-19. Please call us and we can reschedule our appointment. Where possible we will use Online Screening to assess your symptoms and advise next steps.
If you have been having symptoms and are unsure if its COVID 19 related, please give us a call ( 09) 283 0733 to speak with one of our Chiropractors, who can advise you with the best course of action, Or you can book in an Online Telehealth appointment, which will allow you to have an one on one appointment with one of our chiropractors through a video link. We ask clients not to walk into the practice.
