Born in Korea and moved to New Zealand to raise a family. Cecilia has been practicing for over 12 years in New Zealand. Her passion for Acupuncture started with her inquisitiveness of the human body and it’s amazing ability to heal and recover when over stressed or injured, with this passion Cecilia has learnt how to apply Acupuncture treatments for everybody in all stages of life with a safe and holistic aspect.
She understands health is combination of mind (mental) and body (physical) and the relationship determines how your body recovers and functions. Cecilia is able to help mind and body through various methods including cupping, ashi points and trigger points acupuncture, traditional body needling, and light massage, in order for your body to recover from injury and stress.
Cecilia is an Acupuncturist currently working with ChiroMotion Chiropractors. Cecilia has two degrees from New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine and a second Bachelor of Health Sciences Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicines. She is a registered acupuncturist and also a part of the New Zealand Acupuncture Association: Chinese Medicine Council New Zealand and New Zealand Acupuncture Standards Authority.
