First Visit Process
Coming in for your first chiropractic treatment might feel daunting. No need to worry. Our friendly and experienced chiropractors at ChiroMotion are here to help you. Allow 55 minutes for your initial consultation.
Arrival and Forms
Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your appointment. Park in our patient carparks. You will need to fill in a patient history form plus an ACC form if you need to be covered by ACC. Allow 15 minutes fo this.
Examination and Assessment
We wil gain more understanding about your symptoms and conduct a physical examination. This includes musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiovascular and respiratory system checks (if indicated) followed by posture and gait analysis to obtain a baseline for initial care.
Treatment and Care Plan
With the information and results, we will be able to create a care plan that is unique to you and your individual needs. We will do an adjustment on your initial visit.
Second and subsequent visits
On the second visit, our assessment will be presented and explained by the chiropractor, as well as discussing if any further tests are necessary such as x-rays etc. We will also explain your care plan and the frequency of the visits required. You should allow around 15 mins for treatment for each subsequent visit.
